How to Activate the SIP Account on Softphone

In this guide, we will demonstrate how to set up and activate your SIP account on the Softphone application installed on your smartphone.


Step 1: Download the Softphone Application

Please download the Softphone application on your smartphone by clicking on the appropriate link based on your phone's operating system (OS).



Step 2: Launch the Softphone Application

After successfully installing the application, locate the Softphone icon on your phone's home screen and tap it to open the application.

Step 3: Set Up Your SIP Account

If you are using the application for the first time, you will be directed to the "Create Account" tab to add your SIP account. In case you have previously configured the application, access the settings by clicking on the "Settings" icon located at the bottom right of the screen.


Step 4: Select "Generic SIP" Option

In the "Create Account" page, click on the exclamation mark next to the first option, which is "Generic SIP."

Step 5: Enter SIP Credentials

On the following page, fill in the four required details marked in red. You received these details from London ICT. You can also copy and paste the information from the original message.

Step 6: Activate the SIP Account on Softphone

After entering all the necessary details, click on the "Enable" button to activate your SIP account. If the activation is successful, you will be redirected back to the "SIP ACCOUNTS" page. In case of any issues with your account setup, you will see an error message on the "Create Account" page.
